Today the movie "Halfway" with actress Kitano Kie (17) and actor Okada Masaki (19) in the starring roles had its opening day and the cast assembled for a stage greeting event in Tokyo.
The filming was done in November 2007 and it tells a bittersweet love story of a high school love. Most of the movie had been improvised by the actors. "It kinda was like filming with only a few people at home", Kitano said. "I really love this movie", Okada revealed. Even actor Mizobata Junpei (19) who plays a close friend of Okada's character was moved. "The pure acting by Kie-chan and Okada-kun was really impressive."

It's way too early to talk about a DVD release. Afer all it just got released in cinemas.. ^^
