We've already almost arrived in June in no time.
The half of 2009 is already over again.

When looking back at how I spent every day, it always feels like time is slipping away.

It's difficult to have a great day, day after day and no matter what you are doing, time always flies by. How to spend that time depends on ourselves. That's why I'd like to think that this very moment, this very second is very important.

Doing things on your own pace, idling during your days off, working hard and sleeping often, singing in the bathroom, being reluctant to do anything at all, playing games night after night, drinking alcohol and going to karaoke, all those things are okay as well.

Like this you increase your various good and even bad experiences and when looking back the past year, looking at how carefully you spent every moment and every second, all those things might add together and make you say the common phrase, "That was a solid year."

Every day I think about a lot of different stuff, worry about things and even have painful times, but such times are also substantial to our existence.

It's very difficult and people often forget, but I'd like to live in the "now" while being thankful for all of those things.

...I don't know why I suddenly started to talk about such a thing myself, but while seeing every day passing by like seconds, I started to reconsider the things we usually loose the sight of a little. *laughs*

It's going to be quite a change of the topic now, but have you seen the news the day before yesterday??

I'm doing a movie. ☆

It's called "Parade" and based on the original work by Yoshida Shuuichi, the director will be Yukisada Isao and it's planned to come out next spring.

The story revolves around a group of young adults living together under one roof without really knowing anything about each other. It's a movie that draws the story of a live that doesn't seem to be probable, at least not in a modern time like today.

You might be able to see yet another Karina. *laughs*

I guess I'll write about Parade in my diary someday in the future again, don't miss it~☆

Loving the warm spring (´Д`) (1)

How are you?
The pollen still haven't stopped these days, but at least the Golden Week have finally started recently!!
Somehow it has still been cold lately...
It's spring, so I really want that spring-like warmth.
With that weather it's quite difficult to put on spring wear.
I'm like... "When is this finally ending!? (ノ＞＜)ノ" *laughs*

Anyway, I wonder where you are all going for Golden Week?

A few days ago, we went to Chiba for a Ray photo-shooting, my dream province~!!

It was the first time I went there for a photo-shooting, but I already met a lot of different characters, it really was a lot of fun.

However, when we finished with the shooting and everyone had the chance to enjoy the attractions, I had to return early (:_;)
But did not return without getting some souvenirs in an incredible short amount of time.
I also bought stuff like scrunchies for my 2 older sisters to tie their hair, just in case (￣▽￣；)

There wasn't a lot of time during the shooting, but I was able to enjoy the wonderful time I had. Next time I rather would like to go there on a real trip, though~ *laughs*

Loving the warm spring (´Д`) (2)

I just wanted to add that this month I also went to Chinatown in Yokohama for a night! *laughs*

It once again was for a photo-shooting for Ray ☆

Chinatown feels a whole lot different at night compared to daytime, it was beautiful.

I'd like to introduce one of the outfits I've been wearing at that time, just a little.

The color was Gachapin!
[Gachapin is a popular TV character, a green dinosaur..]

The coloring of that parka, it was so good and so incredibly pretty that I spontaneously bought it right there!!

2009 "Spring" (*^_^*)

Spring finally arrived.
It's still a little bit cold and those pollen are still bothering me,
but I'll just have to endure a little bit longer!!! |・_・)

A few days ago was the last episode of "Love Shuffle".
How was it?

I've been doing a lot of photo shootings for magazines, ads and so on ever since we've finished with the dorama.

By the way....


I know I'm late with telling you this and most of you probably already know, but as of spring I will start to work as a model for another new fashion magazine next to the Ray Magazine.

That's right, it's the new fashion magazine by Gentosha called "GINGER".

There will be a bit of my usual self, but also appear in a lot of a bit more adult-oriented casual clothes and others that give off a cool and beautiful charm.

It's the so-called "cool & casual" style?!

let's try!!!


This year is my 10th year working as model and so far it always kept being a work of progress and synergy, where I had to become a new me according to the environment and always think about stepping up my power of expression.

However!

This doesn't mean that my contract with Ray is going to end, I'll still keep working for them!! Ray is like a 2nd home to me ( ^^)Y☆

This means, that..

That there will be another magazine you are going to have to read each month! It has increased!! Laughs

I think that you will be able to see a different "Karina" in Ray and Ginger.

By the way, it will come out each month on the 23rd!!!

First of all I attended a stage greeting event for the new Doraemon movie on the 7th last week~

I've played the role of Morina who is a strong and level-headed girl, but very kind at heart.

Ya~

It's been the first time as voice actress for me and it was really difficult. Moreover I just had 1 day to say all my lines and didn't have anytime to get familiar with the work (´Д｀)
However, I was really happy about this chance, since I've always watched Doraemon in the past, and put all my power into it. It really was a lot of fun.

When you become an adult, it's naturally that you start to neglect some things and people, and often recall the memories from when you've been boys and girls. I really enjoy the time when I'm able to see my family and friends, and I would definitely be happy, if I could continue to see them as often now.

After the stage greeting event I immediately rushed to the Yoyogi Stadium...

That's right!!

That day was the TGC (Tokyo Girls Collection)!!

I had to change into the model mode without any time to rest!!

A lot of people came this time again.

Moreover I was the main model this time!!

I was so anxious, but I kept on telling myself - "I can!" (laughs) and changed the anxiety into pure enjoyment.

Lots of people cheered me on, when it was my time to appear on stage. I was so incredibly happy! (>_<)☆

Thank you everyone!!

It was very hectic until the last minute, but we found a lot of new and different themes again. Above all else it was just such an incredible fun to enliven the stage together with everyone!!

It would be great, if I could once again get the chance to power up in front of everyone again. Thank you.

I've also met Yu at the event, a friend of mine for many years ☆

Yu has been my friend in the industry for the longest time. She's a very good friend, but also a very tough rival, since we both have the same occupation. I think we have a relationship where we can give each other encouragement whenever we need it.

From now on we will also grow into adulthood together (*´∇｀)

Let's work together someday again!☆

However, that day I was always on my feet and had no free time at all.

age 25

This month I turned 25 on the 21st.
It's kind of wonderful and kind of sad... (＿＿;)

However, I received a lot of congratulations which made me really happy ☆

Thanks to everyone for all the congratulation messages!!
All of them got delivered to me without problems ☆

I celebrated it at a set (of a dorama) like last year ☆

I was so happy that everyone from Love Shuffle, the cast and the crew celebrated my birthday (^_-)

All the staff from my agency who always looked after me held a birthday party for me...

After nearly an hour of pure fun, I saw the silhouette of someone.

That's right, it was Matsumoto Runa who played the 2-years-old Himawari in the dorama "Daisuki!!" and her family who came to surprise me! ! ! ! !

It's been over 1 year since I last held her in my arms and she became quite heavy, but she was as cute as ever (T_T)

I was so moved! !

One time I spontaneously crouched down, called Hiimaawaarii~ and Haruna immediately remembered it. She ran over to me and I started to turn round and round with her in my arms ☆

It was exactly like that scene in the dorama (´∀｀)

I was really glad that we met! !

During my birthday and even the couple of days after it I really received support from a lot of people that strengthened my feelings over and over again.
