Nagasawa goes all "Moo!" for Calpis

Nagasawa Masami (21) will yet be in another commercial for popular milk-based soft drink "Calpis". This time she is going to play the role of a nursery school teacher and gets assistance by a lot of cheerful children who play the kindergarten pupils.

There will be 2 versions, the 30sec long "Calpis Monogatari" and the 15sec long "Ushi Paku". In the longer version Nagasawa virtually teaches how Calpis is made. One pupil asks her to make Calpis and thereupon she takes them on a trip to another world. In this miniature world, Nagasawa shows them everything from the milking to lactic-acid bacteria kind of like in a picture story show. In the end the viewer will realize that she's only been dreaming, when the pupils bring her back into the reality...

In the other version they are at a farm. They are on a field trip at a cow shed, when suddenly one of the cows starts to speak to them pupils!? "Hey, you! Do you moo that Calpis is made of my milk and lactic-acid bacteria?" The kids then notice how Nagasawa is lip-syncing for the cow and everyone starts to laugh.

Both are very funny commercials and show the cute side of Nagasawa. "I've been surrounded by so many children and those very tame cow, it was a mixture of laughter and moos. It was lovely setting and we've been able to give them pasture, I enjoyed it very much." Nagasawa recalled some memories from the filming.

Calpis has been created in 1919 and this year is its 90th anniversary. Nagasawa is supposed to happily convey to the viewers that Calpis is made with lactic-acid bacteria that had been inherited for 90 years now.

The commercial will be televised starting April 02nd.

Masami really is the Calpis girl. I'm sure she'll do an awesome job, as always.
