I'll appear on NHK's special dorama "Saka no Ue no Kumo" ☆
The role I'll be playing is that of
the protagonist's Akiyama Saneyuki played by Motoki Masahiro wife, Inou Sueko.

Sueko attends a noble girl's school and meets Saneyuki for the first time when she's 21 years old. She got attracted by Saneyuki's combination of his miraculous charm and great willpower, that he only looks straightforward and the eagerness with which he lives his life.

The whole filming for that project already started in 2007, but the filming for the 2nd batch of episode in which I will appear started this month. I think most of you already read it in newspapers or saw it in the news, but in yesterday's filming I safely was able to play as Saneyuki's wife.


I could go through the happiest time of Sueko's life.

I met Motoki Masahiro for the first time during the rehearsal, but there were many times when his kindness and consideration on the set overlapped with his role as Saneyuki, from going through the script until the actual experience during his play. Whenever he got asked about the filming he has done for this episode so far, he talked about various interesting things with his beautiful voice.

Sueko also must have talked about various things with Saneyuki when they held a rendezvous. What kind of family the Akiyamas are, with what kind of friends he spends his time, also his current interests at that time and how he would like to change the world. Sueko probably wouldn't have understood everything he said, but she would have listened to his stories with a smile.

Only 3 months after their marriage, Sueko had to send out Saneyuki into the war. She hid her loneliness, tried to keep her dignity, always showed her brightfulness and quietly stood close next to him. They might have been at different places, but Sueko still felt like fighting together with him and as his wife had the duty to protect their home.
In order to perfectly play Sueko with all her heart and soul, I too would like to try and keep talking about various things with Motoki and the staff whenever we are filming, so that I can understand a lot more about Saneyuki's life.
I will wholeheartedly put all my effort into this, including all the necessary feelings!!

It will start to go on-air by the end of this year.
"Saka no Ue no Kumo" is a special dorama of an epic scale that certainly shouldn't be missed!!
It will still take a while until Sueko makes her appereance, but...
