Movies in April - Trailer Show

Like last month, here now all the plots and trailers/teaser for the Japanese movies (with at least 1 actress in one of the main roles) that come out in April. None of the plots are actually written by myself (unless I didn't find an English one at all), since I wouldn't really have time to do that. That's all that should have been said... enjoy!

Watashi no Naka no 8mm

Miharu (Okada Rie) comes back to Japan after spending two and a half years with trying to get a job in New York. She finds out that her former boyfriend (Takasugi Mizuho) she left with the hope of coming back together someday has died and drives to his birthplace with her bike in order to visit his grave. Soon she remembers the street where he teached her to ride a bike.. and his beloved 8mm camera. His recorded movies create flashbacks throughout the whole movie.

Crows Zero 2

Genji (Oguri Shun) still hasn’t quite managed to unify badass haven Suzuran High School under one leader due to a decisive loss to the mysterious Linda Man. Unfortunately his goal of local domination must be put on hold when a long-standing truce with rival high school Housen Gakuen is suddenly broken. Led by the ferocious Taiga Narumi (Nobuaki Kaneko), Housen launches an all-out assault on Suzuran, throwing the reigning toughest school in all of Japan into a state of crisis. Also stars Kuroki Meisa.

This Sunday

After her boyfriend leaves Korea to study in Japan, So-ra (Younha) decides to do the same. When she finally arrives in Japan So-ra discovers that her boyfriend has already quit school and gone back to Korea. Sora is now enrolled in film school and remains in Japan. At first she struggles to adept to life in Japan. She then comes across an odd man named Matsumoto, who collects discarded glass bottles. Sora starts to document this man with her video camera and in the process learns more about herself.

Oppai Volleyball

Ayase Haruka stars as a newly-transferred 23-year-old teacher who takes over coaching of her new school's volleyball team, only to discover the squad's 5 players are all geeks who are too preoccupied with girls to bother practicing. Without realizing quite how effective it would ultimately be, she somehow gets roped into promising to show her "oppai" (breasts) if they win the big tournament, turning the boys into highly-dedicated sportsmen overnight. Already nervous about the implications of her promise, her career is put in jeopardy when school administrators catch wind of the bountiful reward.

Rain Fall

Based on the first in a series of six novels by American author Barry Eisler, Shiina Kippei plays a half-Japanese assassin named John Rain who's forced to serve as bodyguard to the daughter of one of his victims (Hasegawa Kyoko) who is thought to hold the key to exposing high-level governmental corruption. Rain is a former member of the U.S. Special Forces. While serving in Vietnam, he was betrayed by a man who later became the head of CIA operations in Tokyo, William Holtzer (Gary Oldman). With nowhere to run, Rain depends on a trustworthy former adversary and Keisatsucho (Japanese FBI) agent named Tatsu (Emoto Akira) when he needs guidance.

Thank you for this. This Sunday and Oppai Volley looks interesting and funny.

Oppai Volleyball definitely looks interesting. And Haruka's always great in her movies - case in point: Cyborg She. She really rocked in that one - I'm sure it'll be the same here.
