Today NTT DoCoMo introduced their new mobile phones at a PR event in Tokyo and the four image characters Horikita Maki (20), Matsuyama Kenichi (24), Tsutsumi Shinichi (44) and Gekidan Hitori (32) attended the event as well. The four of them will continue to appear in the various new commercials for the brand. The first edition entitled "Everyone's Summer" will already go on-air this Wednesday while "STYLE Summer" and "PRIME Summer" will follow in June.

In "Everyone's Summer" they'll once again meet up with Yamazaki Tsutomu (72) and Narumi Riko (16), but this time it will be at their beach house where they are going to enjoy a barbecue together. "STYLE Summer" will feature Horikita Maki wearing a nice yukata, but sadly(?) it's going to have a rain scene in order to showcase the waterproof function of the new mobile phones. Tsutsumi gave us his thoughts of that edition. "Maki-chan is so pretty in a yukata. I got fascinated by her appearance." Horikita herself also said a few words about the commercial. "When filming the commercial, I so felt like going to a summer festival that I really want to wear a yukata and go to one this year."

Gekidan Hitori will be featured in the PRO-series commercials and introduce the new smart phone manufactured by Toshiba. "Windows CE and especially Excel is really useful. You wouldn't be able to use Excel without such a large display." He explained almost like an otaku.
