More Valentine Chocolate stories

Valentine's Day in Japan is over, but it didn't end without a couple more special events for fans of 2 or 3 celebrities. Two of those special events were to promote singer and actress Maeda Atsuko (17) from AKB48 and child actoress Miyama Karen (12).

One of AKB48's front-singers Maeda Atsuko had a handshake event on Valentine's Day to promote her first Idol-DVD called "Muboubi" (defenseless). When asked whether she really is defenseless herself, she replied with a blank expression, "I stopped being embarrassed changing my clothes in front of the other members. Now I even have no problem with changing in front of the male staff anymore." About 850 fans and reporters came to the handshake event and she gave all her fans special made Valentine's chocolate, but she said that she doesn't yet have a special someone she could give it to as well.

Young actress Miyama Karen also had a PR event in Tokyo to promote her 2nd photo book "puka" and DVD "no na kau a kau". In April she's going to enter into junior high and about her goal she said, "I'd like to try myself at roles I haven't been able to do so far." She also talked about the Valentine's Chocolate she's giving to a friend. "Usually I'm late the next morning, because I stood up all night to make it. This time I thought I did it right in the first try, but I failed and eventually had to stay up until midnight again." After another question she added that her friend who is getting the chocolate isn't a boy.
