As of Friday you will be able to see actress Miyazaki Aoi (23) in a new CM for Aflac. Aflac is an abbreviation for "American Family Life Assurance Company" and Miyazaki has been an image character for them for a while now. There will be two versions of that CM, "Ahiru Radio (1) Morning in Spring" and "Ahiru Radio (2) Evening in Spring". (Ahiru means 'duck', their mascot)
In the CM you can see the "Ahiru Radio Station" on a hill slightly atop the sea where Miyazaki reads out the letters of joy from her listeners who received their assurance payment. Together with her accomplice the duck she goes through the letters and straightly expresses the essence of what this is about, the importance of life assurance. "I want you to use it to live."
Miyazaki revealed that there was one particular word in her lines that she had to say many times over before getting it right and that she's very embarrassed about it. "It was so awful when I had to say the word 'surgical operation', it always ended up as something like 'shurgishal operation'."
Note: "Surgical operation" = "Shujutsu" and she always ended up saying something like "Shujuchu"

Aoi is just adorable. I wish there was a way we could hear all those botched attempts!
