Actress Adachi Yumi (27) attended a PR event for the 7-man band "Ossan" on Thursday. It's been 1 months since her divorce with Speed Wagon's Itoda Jun and her first public appearance since then. "I'd like to live a happy life together with my daughter. Now I can thoroughly concentrate on my work again." She said.

Itoda Jun can see his 2 years old Rin-chan 2 times a month. "We talk about kindergartens, I tell him ho we are doing and so on. He and I both are her parents after all." However, the possibilities of a reconciliation with her spouse are zero. "Not even if the world turned upside down."

Adachi also once again explained why their marriage ended in a divorce. "There isn't really one single reason for the divorce, we simply came to 'disagree' with each other in general." Itoda said the same in a previous interview. Reconciliation is out of the question, but what are her views on a 2nd marriage with another man? "Someday I sure would be willing to marry again, but for now I don't want to." Her mother and talento Adachi Yuri (51) also said that she has nothing against a 2nd marriage. "There's nothing wrong with a 2nd marriage, but please choose your partner carefully."

The event that day was to celebrate the release of Ossan's cover version of Nakajima Miyuki's hit song "Sora to Kimi no Aidani". It was the theme song of the popular dorama "Homeless Child" that starred Adachi Yumi. Now she's also starring the music video of that cover song. Actress Adachi Yumi (27) will star in a modern version of "Ienakiko" (Homeless Child), it has been announced today.

The band Ossan is releases a cover version of Nakajima Miyuki's hit song "Sora to Kimi no Aidani" and Adachi Yumi will appear in their music video. The same song was used in 1994~95 as the theme song for the dorama "Ienakiko" that also starred Adachi Yumi.

"Don't sympathize me, but give me money." That's one of the quotes that will remain in the history of doramas forever and became the buzzword of the year back then. Adachi played the role of a gifted child who had to live through a very tough life. 14 years passed since that dorama aired on NTV. Adachi had a shotgun wedding with comedian Itoda Jun (36), but they soon divorced. Her daughter is 2 years old now and she's living on as a single mother.

She herself changed and so will her role. Before she played a strong primary school student who had to endure endless bullying and a family that can't get any worse. In the music video she is going to play a teacher who helps a young girl out of her lonliness caused by bullying.

"When they offered me to do this role, I was simply happy. It was a lot of fun to play that role. The song is wonderful and will make a lot of people feel all warm and fluffy after listening to it. It also brought back all the memories from the past for me."
