THE JERSEY!! *laughs*

Today I once again spent the day in such an easy-going style!
It was for training...

Alright! Today I'll answer your questions ☆
- I'm stretching before going to sleep!
- As for exercising... lately I'm riding on a bicycle!

- I don't use a perfume..
However, I use a Body cream with a Rose fragrance!
- Okinawan cuisine! I love Taco-Rice!!
On 2nd place, "Soumen Chanpuru"!!

- During Golden Week I worked and in between
I went shopping; what I will show you in a photo before long.

- I'm not doing any particular sports...!

- When I get long time holidays, I take a trip to an isolated Island in Okinawa!!

- I don't have any copybook or model I follow for my fashion. I wear whatever I want to wear! This way I can feel like I'm being myself.

- About what I'm aiming for or however you want to call it...
I love Angelina Jolie!
Thanks to that person who recommended that movie with Angelina Jolie!!
I'll check it out!

And that's it for today!
I turned out a bit long, I guess...
Thanks to everyone who still read it!!!!!

Translation-Notes:
[1: Taco-Rice: taco-flavoured ground beef served on a bed of rice and lettuce, frequently also served together with tomato, cucumber, cheese and topped off with salsa]
[2: Soumen Chanpuru: Soumen are very thin, white Japanese noodles made of wheat flour. Chanpuru is a popular Okinawan stir fry dish, generally containing vegetables, tofu, and some kind of meat or fish. Luncheon meat (such as SPAM or Danish Tulip), egg, moyashi and gōyā (bitter melon) are some other common ingredients.]

In Hong Kong!!

I went to a charity party of a Hong Kong ballet group!
They gave me an invitation after watching the movie "Subaru"!!
It was a very precious time for me and something you usually aren't able to experience!
Nakata Hidetoshi has been there as well.
It's been since the BVLGARI Awards that we've met,
but he has been as gentlemanly as ever ☆

I've been in Hong Kong for the first time now...
But I've only been there for 11 hours!!!!

It went by in a blink of time...

Anyway, I'm now returning to Tokyo!

Today

I've won the Rookie of the Year award

First entry on rank 9!!

Manager mahomaho already said it in the staff blog,
Meisa's debut album "hellcat" made an impressive 9th rank in the Oricon weekly charts! On the first day she even made it on the 5th place in the daily charts! She made a great start thanks to all of you!
Thank you very much.

Meisa has a very busy schedule due to her stage play at the moment, but maybe (!?) she's already recording new songs despite that.

Visiting Princess Nadja

While she's doing well with her CD, yesterday the curtains raised for the first performance of "Akai Shiro Kuroi Suna" (Red Castle Black Sand) in the Nissay Theatre!
Meisa plays princess Nadja, the daughter of the Red land's king.
It doesn't focus on singing and dancing, the bigger highlights are the many sword fight scenes and so on. You should definitely go to the theatre~

Hey! It's finally here!!

Today Meisa sneaked out from the photo shooting for her photo book and went to the HMV store in Shibuya! She herself was really impressed by the Meisa-Signboard, the Meisa-Cover on the HMV pamphlet and Meisa-Songs that have been played inside the store. Overall it was a very short surprise visit where she signed a panel and took a picture as memory, but she also was able to greet all the people who happened to be there at this moment and that was really a great feeling!

After this she will do an interview for "News ZERO", will get featured in "Mezamashi TV" and be on the front-cover of "Shukan SPA!", quite a start of an artist! Please try to check them all!!

Crows Zero II Preview Screening

Alright, so yesterday Meisa went to the preview screening
of the Warumen movie "Crows Zero II" as the only(!?) female cast!

The dress code for the event was black and Meisa also appeared in a black dress! She looked wonderful!
There's a must-see sing and dance scene of "Bad Girl" from "hellcat" in the movie!

Apart from that it's still a very cool movie~
It's keeping you on the edge of your seat throughout the whole movie and constantly keeps you thinking about the cast/characters, "How did he do that?" There is one powerful scene after another in this movie!

Not just cute!?

Meisa's movie "Subaru" opened in cinemas!
Did you all go to see it?? Last summer she challenged herself as a ballet dancer and put on the toe shoes every day, even in her daily life! (She mentioned it in NHK's "Toprunner" the other day!)
It's a beautiful movie in which you can see Meisa's grim determination as well as her amazing dancing!

I found some great article! At first Meisa seems to be a "cool beauty" and "it's difficult to approach her", but we who work with her every day can see how much she loves her work, how playful she can be and always get more and more bewitched by her charm.

It's from an interview with "Subaru" director Lee Chi-ngai.
Here:
http://eiga.com/buzz/20090319/8

(Eh? I'm too late??)

Extra!
Here some translated snippets from the interview with the director:

"Subaru is born with a natural gift for dancing. She's also a bit special in other cases as well, which makes her a loner. The comic and the novel are already different, but a movie is something completely else again. You have to convince the audience of that certain something the character possesses, but you only have limited time to do that. When I met Kuroki for the first time, I was immediately blown away and knew that she would perfectly fit in the role of Subaru. She isn't what you call "your ordinary cute actress" and has something very special in her nature."

Kuroki also did almost all of the dance scenes herself, despite her lack of ballet experience. "She's really professional," the director also praised her. "Many recent young actors, actresses and teen idols don't put a lot of effort in their work anymore. Kuroki's attitute and how she deals with her work is really wonderful. She might be the hardest working actress I've ever worked with."

Recording

One month after the recordings for "hellcat" she's been in the studio again and already worked on a demo for a new song.

A few days ago there was a private screening event for her movie "Subaru" and as of next month Meisa will be busy practicing for her stage play.
In between she's also trying her best with her music career!
Today she's been recording a demo song in the studio at Jeff's house, he produced "Criminal", "SEX" and "Lost" for "hellcat" (He produced them all together with Meisa, of course).

That's jeff:

Jeff is a very active and international producer who also was in charge of the narration in the preview for the "Criminal" music video!
He's serious, but also playful, and regarding his music he's simply a superb person!

Today Meisa also updated her "Alarm from Meisa" page!
You definitely have to check that out!
