The first teaser is for Inoue Mao's newest movie "Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu" (I Give My First Love to You) with Okada Masaki as the male protagonist has been released. It's beeing directed by Shinjo Takehiko and an adaption of Kotomi Aoki's tear-jerking manga originally serialized in Sho-Comi in 2005. Toho will be releasing it in Japan on October 24, 2009.
Plot:
As a child Takuma is diagnosed with a heart condition that requires care from a cardiologist. He soon becomes friends with his doctor’s young daughter Mayu while being treated at the hospital. One day Mayu overhears her father saying that Takuma’s condition is serious enough that he most likely won’t live long beyond the age of 20. Takuma isn’t aware of this himself, however, so at 8-years-old he makes a promise to marry Mayu when they turn 20. Later in life, Takuma (now played by Okada) becomes aware that he won’t be able to keep this promise and he begins distancing himself from Mayu (Inoue) in hopes of protecting her.

"Hawaii"
I am the new manager K who will be in charge of the "Staff Diary" from now on.
It's nice to meet you and I will try my best at updating you with with all Mao-san's recent activities, no matter how small they are!!
Some days ago, we went to Hawaii for 4-nights-6-days to do a photo shooting for the "Weekly Shonen Magazine"! It was a lot of fun and it also was the same staff that helped us in Vietnam last year. Mao-san has been looking forward to it for the whole time ever since we decided on Hawaii for the location. She even brought along a 3/4 empty suitcase only to pack it with souvenirs! (laughs)
The scenery from the window of our room right after we arrived was the best!!
Mao-san also did a spontaneously shout of joy.
The cloudy sky during the first day of the photo shooting.
We had to change our schedule and use the bus to move to a place where the sky cleared up!
If you look closely, you can see that everyone in the back is dead asleep! (laughs)
Every day we had a big cloud following us and... we started to say things like that we have a woman or a man among us who causes the rain, but we've been able to finish the shooting without any problems thanks to the beautiful setting sun on our last day!
By the way, Mao-san herself said that she's a wind-woman and that she can summon the wind.

The shooting made a great progress and so we had our last day off!
We split into a beach-group and a golf-group, Mao-san went golfing and had her debut on the green! It was a lot of fun thanks to GTM (Great Teacher Mike) as Mao-san would say. By the way, Mike-san was our coordinator.
That "Weekly Shonen Magazine" will go on sale on July 1st!!

"Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu"
Excuse me for the very slow updates...
She safely finished shooting "Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu" on May 2nd!
Up until now Mao-chan has often been the junior at the set,
but this time she was the senior and therefore very nervous in the beginning.
However, by the end of the filming she became really good friends with Okada-kun,
so good that they've almost looked like childhood friends!
In between the filming or when switching locations with the bus,
the two of them always battled each other in "Tetris" on the DS!
Victory or defeat, has Mao-chan been victorious? It seems that way. *laughs*
She's been undergoing training since before the filming, there's even an archery scene!
In archery it requires much more strength to draw a bow than you might think,
her palms became bright red, but she still hung in there.
And might this here be the farewell look??
Mao-chan with a junior high school and senior high school 2 pattern uniform ♪
By the way, yesterday she did the pictures for the movie poster.
Toho will release "Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu" country-wide on October 24.
It turned out to be a really beautiful movie, so you all should definitely look forward to it!
~P.S.~
A magazine with a big article from behind-the-scenes will go out on sale on June 6.

Ninomiya Kazunari, Inoue Mao play couple in drama special
Posted by: Pori in Dorama SP, Inoue Mao, TBSArashi's Ninomiya Kazunari (25) and actress Inoue Mao (22) will co-star in a drama special on TBS. The story is based on two novels written by professional windsurfer Iijima Natsuki, who died of cancer in 2005.
During Iijima's battle with cancer, he wrote an essay titled "Gan ni Ikasarete," which formed part of the basis for the 2007 film "Tengoku de Kimi ni Aetara," a biography of Iijima that starred Osawaw Takao and Ito Misaki. Around the same time, Iijima penned a novel also titled "Tengoku de Kimi ni Aetara," as well as a sequel titled "Kamisama ga Kureta Namida." The drama special is based on those two books, which sold more than 450,000 copies combined.
The drama is also being called "Tengoku de Kimi ni Aetara." Ninomiya plays the main character, a psychiatrist working in the counseling room of a cancer treatment center by the beach. While tending to the patients, part of his job involves taking dictation from them when they want to send a letter to a loved one.
Inoue plays the psychiatrist's wife and mother to the couple's twin daughters. Other cast members include Miyamoto Nobuko as a nurse, Santamaria Yusuke as a surgeon, and Ogata Naoto as the owner of a surf shop.
The broadcast date for the drama has not yet been determined.

Spring
Maou-chan graduated from university without any problems.
Those 4 years have been very tough while trying to manage both, her studies and her work. She went to school whenever she had time between filming, even if it meant to go there after filming the whole night long; she also did her homework and other papers at the sets as well, those are all some nice memories now.
And to everyone in her 5-man group of very close friends (they call themselves "The Candies") who always supported her at school, congratulations on graduating as well~!!
By the way, today she's already filming a movie again.
Though, I still can't give you any details yet...

Both Inoue Mao and Kitagawa Keiko graduated from Meiji University
Posted by: Pori in Inoue Mao, Kitagawa Keiko
Yesterday (26th) actress Inoue Mao (22) graduated from the Meiji University and majored in Dramatics Arts after 4 years of studying in the School of Arts and Letters. The graduation ceremony took place in the Budokan in Tokyo.
"The graduation makes you feel happy, but also a bit lonely..," Inoue expressed at the ceremony. Looking back at her 4 years of college life brings nothing but a smile on her face. "I was able to graduate with all my friends in 4 years! My 5 female friends and I also went to Hawaii for our graduation trip!!" Inoue had her breakthrough in 2005 and 2007 with her role in the TBS hit-dorama "Hana Yori Dango". Apparently Inoue seems to be a bit reluctant when it comes to studying love. "One time we went to a joint party, but I only went as the counselor for my friend. I wanted to experience it at least once." The guys at the group date, however, must have been not too bad. "They were like the F4 of our Meiji University, but no match to the original."
Actress Kitagawa Keiko (22) also graduated from the Meiji University that day. Unlike Inoue, she was in the School of Commerce and came to an interview in Kanda-Surugada, Tokyo. After the actual ceremony in the Nippon Budokan, Kitagawa appeared in a white and purple hakama. She made it through her 4 years without any troubles and was moved to tears when she looked back at how much support she received over the years. "My family and my agency, everyone around me supported me to their fullest. I nearly cried when I received my graduation certificate." Kitagawa also had the following to say about her college life. "It was so great that I was able to live an ordinary life with friends of my age. I would have prefered to stay there instead of graduating. It will be so lonely without that place now..."
